Bought this about a year ago and its been......ok the battwry pack fan has become very loud due to it not spinning correctly its clipping the side of the housing making it unusable also would be much better if they used the thermo generator tech they have in the cooking stove that is the best peoduct ive ever bought for a camping aspect. Please fix the issues with this product. I had such high expectations just based on my experiance with your cooking stove.

Great product. Love the fan, keeps the smoke at bay. The handles stay cool so if you have to move it, it's possible.

Love this fire pit! Doesnt generate as much heat but still makes good ambiance. Love the grill function too. My only issues is that because of the mesh side you cant really control the heat so its always on full after burner mode. wish they'll make a cover for the sides when grilling.

The fire pit is beautiful. I love the visibility of the fire and the mostly smokeless aspects. A few disappointing aspects: the fire pit came with a substantial dent in the wire mess. The battery pack fan is super loud. Otherwise, it is a portable size and easy to assemble.

To put it simply. Good functional product. Bad at keeping us warm. Good at cooking. If you had all the products for it it would be better. Still smoke, maybe wrong fuel? Nice and pretty though. It needs a heat diffuser on top to spread the heat. Please create and add that product. The bag also needs work. Stuffing the fire stoker through the loops is not feasible. One of the loops is tearing. Maybe a velcro or bigger loops? Also the grill slides out, needs a latch.

Was gifted one by a close friend of mine after he purchased one for himself. Used it this past weekend in Pismo and it did not disappoint. Weather was beautiful and a little chilly and this kept myself and wife very warm. Can't wait to use it again!

I love my firepit+ but was disappointed when the battery stopped working. However when I contacted support I was very impressed. Lala Flores from the support team was quick to respond and worked with me diligently to find a solution. It's good to know they got your back. Thanks Lala!

We bought the Fire Pit Kit a couple of years ago. The power bank fan thingie stopped working and we were unable to recharge it. At the time it was just out of the warranty. And we were told that the only option was to buy a whole new power bank which for us would've broken the bank. Also at the time I had just been diagnosed with breast cancer and was focusing all of my energy on addressing that. And really had not dropped left to do almost anything else. Recently on the Facebook Bio Lite owners page I was mentioning this and people encouraged me to get back in touch with bolide so with reservations about a positive outcome I did contact Bio Lite again. I ended up interacting with a wonderful wonderful woman lane LAYN who patiently and carefully walked me through all of the options and finally very kindly offered a 10% discount on a new power bank saying that they were now available oh sorry originally we would've had to buy the whole fire kit the power bank wasn't available at that time. So Lane said she would , give us a 10% discount on a phone and a power bank and I said that was very kind and generous of her and we accepted her kind offer and would not be able to do it for while because my husband just started working again a couple weeks ago he'd been fired at the beginning of the pandemic for declining to get the Covid shot. So lane went and talked with somebody behind the curtain LOL I don't know who or what but she came back and she said under the circumstances we would like to gift you with the power bank and just send me the number of the original one and I'll get that in the mail to you right away , what a tremendous and delightful start! I really like using the Firepit+. So easy to start (and stop) a fire. I also love an essentially smokeless fire experience. Also a great grill for cooking. I wish its battery recharged with the heat of the fire like the Cook Stove, but am nevertheless thrilled to have the firepit.

I really wanted to be enthusiastic about it but was miffed that the coating was flawed. Also that the grill doesn't seem to fit quite right. But have to admit it worked great otherwise! I guess some BBQ paint will be needed later but overall it's pretty cool!

Much to the dismay of my financial advisor, I purchased one of these over a year ago and kept it under wraps, waiting for the opportune moment to launch the new addition to my burgeoning fire burning implement collection. I have every size solo stove- some in multiples, a snap peak takibi,chimineas, fireboxes, jet stoves etc.. Inniut last visit to our cabin in the woods of the Catskill mountains , we found ourselves dealing with cold , wet climates and our wood supply was not the driest. Perfect! I unveiled the Biolite, loaded it up with a bunch of mostly dry tinder and kindling and a few tumbleweed starters and off it went! It gobbled up everything we threw at it! Tossed in the grill and it cooked up a few delightful tenderloins to boot! Never even powered it up beyond the midway mark. The fan kept going for hours and it was still showing full charge the following morning. Fun as heck! Get it.

Used my BioLite 5x now, it's a cool, fun little toy but not magical. It is light and easily portable, so if you are looking for a camping/picnic fire, or move around the house to different spots, it's great. I like the sliding grill grate, easy to remove and easy to remove ashes. But it's not magical. It will still smoke at first, it works better as you get a bigger, deeper fire. It will not turn wet wood into clean fire. And in my experience, windy conditions seem to negate its "smokeless" effectiveness, if the wind is stronger than the fan. But with good wood, calm conditions and deep coals, it can put off a great clean heat in a small space. Seems pretty safe and contained too. Battery does seem to last as long as advertised.

Love this thing great for camping or home, nice and portable. The fan is great helps get the fire going without having to stoke the fire yourself. Only fault is don't turn fan off once fire is going it can melt the fan internals.

I have been looking at getting one of these for a while now but have been on the fence. But after looking at a new campground that said you must bring your own firepit. I decided to get one and I am glad we did. I tested this out with wet wood and tumbleweed, and it lit with no problem with the fan running. Looking forward to taking this out on our next camping trip.

I ordered the Firepit+ on the recommendation of a friend. The order process, shipping, and receipt of the order were all very straight foward and well done. Upon opening the Firepit and assembling it became obvious that the grill did not fit as advertised and I assume, as designed. Two tabs are supposed to fit under a lip on the Firepit and allow the grill to slide so fuel can be added when cooking, those tabs came nowhere near the lip, much less working as designed. I submitted a question and was shipped a grill replacement which arrived very quickly. To my surprise, the replacement was worse than the original. Quality is completely ignored apparently at the manufacturing facility responsible for the grills. I contacted the help agent again and similar to the grill, the second go around was worse, I received an "oh well, that's too bad" type response. Now I have a very expensive fire pit that does not function as a grill for cooking as advertised. There are many fire pits that accommodate much more wood/fire and burn smoke free for this price. There is novelty and purpose here in the design, however, component manufacturing is very poor and as far as my interactions went, customer service ended up as a disappointment. I can not in good conscience recommend this product for anything more than a fire pit for very small fires, I wish I could as it had promise and the solution is exceptionally easy, QA/QC.

Great firepit. This is my second purchase, the first one the motor still works, but the x-ray metal sadly corroded. But we got probably eight years out of it. One of the first purchases of generation 1. Can't wait to try out the new one.
